Sacramento, CA (April 09, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on Highway 99 left one person injured Wednesday morning in North Sacramento. The crash occurred around 7:23 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Elkhorn Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP reports that the incident involved two vehicles under still-unclear circumstances. Emergency responders arrived quickly to provide assistance, and paramedics evaluated the injured party at the scene. The individual was later transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Their current condition has not been made public.
No other injuries were reported. The crash created traffic delays during peak commute hours while crews worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation.
