Sacramento, CA (June 12, 2025) – A pedestrian was critically injured when struck by a vehicle on westbound Business 80 near the Arden Way exit, CHP reports.
The collision occurred just before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sacramento Fire and EMS crews treated the victim at the scene and transported the individual to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are examining factors such as why the pedestrian was on the freeway, vehicle speed, and driver actions.
