Elk Grove, CA (April 16, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash late Tuesday morning on Bruceville Road near Alta Valley Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. when the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The victim reported that the driver briefly rolled down their window to check on them but then fled the scene without offering further assistance.
Emergency services responded to provide aid to the injured individual, though the severity of their injuries has not yet been confirmed. CHP’s traffic collision unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
