Sacramento, CA - Pedestrian Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Calvine Rd Onramp

Sacramento, CA (April 11, 2025) – One person was killed early Friday morning after being struck by multiple vehicles on the Calvine Road onramp to northbound Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m. Officers at the scene confirmed that the pedestrian was hit by two separate vehicles. Both drivers remained at the location following the collisions.

The onramp was temporarily blocked during the early morning hours but has since reopened.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
