Sacramento, CA - Runner Injured in Hit-and-Run at 17th and Q Streets

Sacramento, CA (April 23, 2025) – A runner was injured Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run at the intersection of 17th and Q Streets, according to Sacramento police.

The victim, a member of the Sacramento Run Club, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not suffer any fractures. The driver fled the scene without stopping.

Police are actively investigating and urge anyone with information to come forward.
