Sacramento, CA - Shaun Sutterfield Dies in Motorcycle Crash on I-5 Connector

Sacramento, CA (April 15, 2025) – A fatal motorcycle accident on Tuesday night claimed the life of 50-year-old Shaun Sutterfield, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred on the southbound Interstate 5 connector, where Sutterfield’s motorcycle was struck by another vehicle. The impact caused him to fall near the intersection of Front Street and Broadway.

Emergency crews responded quickly and attempted life-saving efforts, but Sutterfield was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was reportedly uninjured.

Authorities closed off the area to allow for investigation and cleanup. The cause of the crash remains under review.
