Sacramento, CA - Two-Car Crash Reported on State Route 51 Near E Street

Sacramento, CA (April 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred Monday morning on State Route 51 South near E Street, according to local authorities.

The crash was reported around 11:00 a.m. and involved a black sedan and a black Lexus SUV. Witnesses stated the sedan changed lanes and merged into the path of the SUV, causing the collision.

Emergency crews responded to manage the scene and implement traffic control. A tow truck was called to remove one of the vehicles involved. Lane closures were temporarily in effect while crews worked.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
