Sacramento, CA (May 10, 2025) – A vehicle rollover early Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 5 near Airport Boulevard resulted in a fire, according to local emergency reports.
The incident occurred around 12:29 a.m. when a vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled onto its side approximately 20 to 30 feet from the highway. The vehicle subsequently caught fire, prompting a swift response from the Sacramento Fire Department and other emergency crews.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze while a tow truck was dispatched to recover the damaged vehicle. Lane closures were implemented to assist with emergency operations, leading to delays in the area.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No information has been released regarding injuries.
