Sacramento, CA - Woman Killed Pinned by Own Car on Rush River Drive

Sacramento, CA (June 3, 2025) – A woman was killed just before 6 p.m. Tuesday when her car rolled and pinned her against a parked vehicle in the Bel Air grocery lot on Rush River Drive.

Officers responding to a pedestrian‐hit report found the driver trapped beneath her own vehicle. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene. Two minors who were riding as passengers in her car were uninjured.

Sacramento Police continue to investigate what caused the collision.
