Sacramento, CA - Woman Killed, Two Injured in Crash at Watt Ave and Kiefer Blvd

Sacramento, CA (June 15, 2025) – A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a crash at South Watt Avenue and Kiefer Boulevard in the Rosemont area Sunday evening, the CHP reports.

The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. and involved a Lexus and an Infiniti. Authorities said one of the vehicles may have run a red light, but the investigation is ongoing. The woman driving the Infiniti was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later died. A man and a juvenile in the Infiniti were also hospitalized with moderate and minor injuries, respectively. The Lexus driver was not hurt.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating whether impairment was a factor in the crash.
