Sacramento, CA (April 15, 2025) – A teenager sustained life-threatening injuries early Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash involving a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Natomas Road and West Riego Road, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The accident occurred around 5:20 a.m. when the stolen vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed. Emergency crews from Sacramento Fire and local paramedics arrived promptly to find a severely damaged vehicle and a juvenile suffering from serious injuries. The teen was stabilized at the scene and transported to a local hospital for advanced medical care.
Authorities believe that excessive speed may have contributed to the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and the investigation remains ongoing. Officials have not yet released information regarding possible charges or how the vehicle was obtained.
