Sacramento County, CA – Two Injured in Big Rig Crash at Jackson Rd & Excelsior Rd

Sacramento County, CA (May 8, 2025) – A collision involving a big rig injured two individuals Thursday morning near the intersection of Jackson Road and Excelsior Road in southern Sacramento County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:11 a.m. Emergency responders arrived on scene and transported both injured parties to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. The severity and nature of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the collision. The incident remains under active investigation as officials work to piece together the events leading up to the crash.
