Salinas, CA (June 8, 2025) – One person was injured when a Toyota Tacoma and a Ford Focus collided on River Road near County Road G17, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred around 9:32 p.m. Saturday. Monterey County Fire and paramedics treated the injured at the scene, and one individual was transported to a local hospital for further care.
CHP investigators are examining whether vehicle speed, road conditions, or driver inattention contributed to the collision.
