Salinas, CA – Two Hurt in Collision at Blanco & Davis Rds

Salinas, CA (May 21, 2025) – Two people were injured Wednesday morning when a Monterey County Sheriff’s patrol car collided with an Audi, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Blanco Road and Davis Road. The patrol car, lights activated, was heading south on Blanco Road when it struck the eastbound Audi, sending it into a pole.

A 55-year-old Seaside woman driving the Audi and a deputy in the patrol car were treated by emergency crews and transported to local hospitals; the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

CHP investigators continue to probe the cause of the collision.
