San Francisco, CA (April 16, 2025) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on northbound Highway 101, just south of the I-280 interchange in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 7:57 a.m. and involved a grey Mazda CX5, a motorcycle, and a third unidentified vehicle. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike upon impact and sustained severe injuries. Emergency crews from San Francisco Fire and EMS responded quickly and transported the rider to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Traffic was significantly affected during the morning commute as responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities are still examining the incident and gathering witness accounts to determine what led to the collision.
