San Francisco, CA (June 18, 2025) – Two people were injured early Monday morning after a police pursuit ended in a crash in San Francisco’s Financial District, authorities said.
The incident began shortly before 2:00 a.m. near 6th and Harrison Streets, where San Francisco Police attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being stolen. The driver fled, leading officers on a high-speed chase through downtown.
The pursuit ended near Sutter Street and Trinity Place when the fleeing vehicle crashed into a parked car. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported both occupants of the suspect vehicle to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No bystanders were hurt, though the collision resulted in property damage in the area. Police have not yet released the names of those arrested.
