San Jose, CA – Driver Injured in SR-237 Crash

San Jose, CA (June 2, 2025) – One driver was injured Monday morning when three vehicles collided on westbound State Route 237 near the North First Street off-ramp, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The crash occurred around 9:48 a.m. Fire and EMS crews arrived to find a black Mercedes with rear-end damage among the disabled vehicles. Paramedics treated the injured driver on the scene before transporting the patient to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

CHP and fire personnel cleared lanes as tow services moved the Mercedes to the shoulder. All lanes reopened by 10:24 a.m. Investigators continue examining whether speed or driver error contributed to the collision.
