San Jose, CA - Five-Vehicle Crash on I-280 North at Saratoga Ave

San Jose, CA (April 30, 2025) – A serious five-vehicle collision occurred Wednesday evening on the northbound Interstate 280 on-ramp at Saratoga Avenue, resulting in multiple injuries and extensive vehicle damage. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at approximately 5:49 p.m. Vehicles involved included a black Hyundai Sonata, a grey Tesla, a grey Toyota Camry, a silver Toyota, and another unidentified vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived on scene to assist the injured and coordinate vehicle removal.

While details regarding the number and severity of injuries have not yet been released, at least one individual was reportedly evaluated by medical personnel. All lanes were cleared by 6:57 p.m., according to officials.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
