San Juan Capistrano, CA (May 5, 2025) – A collision involving a white Kia Forte and a semi-truck occurred Monday afternoon on Interstate 5 North at the junction with State Route 73 North, leaving at least one person injured, according to reports from the scene.
The crash was reported at approximately 2:46 p.m. Emergency responders arrived swiftly to assess the situation and provide aid. One of the vehicles involved, believed to be the Kia, sustained damage significant enough to require on-site assistance, including a tire replacement.
First responders provided medical attention to at least one injured individual, though the extent of the injuries remains undisclosed at this time. Both vehicles were visibly damaged in the impact.
While the crash did cause traffic disruptions, authorities focused primarily on securing the scene and ensuring medical care was administered. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
