Santa Clara County, CA (May 30, 2025) – Two people were hospitalized after their vehicle was struck by a fleeing driver on southbound Highway 85 near Blossom Hill Road.
The crash occurred before 5:00 a.m. Friday, California Highway Patrol reports. One car sustained major damage, and its two occupants were transported to a hospital; both are expected to recover.
The second vehicle involved was found unoccupied nearby. CHP’s San Jose Division is working to identify and locate the driver who fled the scene.
