Santa Cruz, CAย โ A young child suffered major injuries after being struck by a silver Ford Escape in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident on Tuesday evening at the intersection of Soquel Drive and Fairway Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6:40 PM, prompting an immediate response from Santa Cruz Fire and Rescue and local paramedics. Authorities classified the incident as a โmajor injuryโ pedestrian crash (CHP Code 1180).
