Scotts Valley, CA (May 19, 2025) – A northbound semi-truck overturned on Highway 17 just south of Sugarloaf Road Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. when the driver lost control, causing the big rig to roll onto its side and block the right lane. Emergency crews treated the driver for minor injuries on the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.
The CHP investigators are working to determine the crash’s cause.
