Sebastopol, CA (May 24, 2025) – A driver was killed when their Nissan crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a tree on Bloomfield Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:04 p.m. Saturday, when the southbound Nissan veered into the northbound lane, continued onto the shoulder, and collided with a tree.
Emergency personnel transported the driver to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. CHP investigators continue to probe the factors that led to the vehicle leaving its lane.
