South Sacramento, CA - Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run on Renton Way

South Sacramento, CA (April 26, 2025) – A hit-and-run involving a bicyclist occurred Saturday evening on Renton Way in South Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At around 6:47 p.m., emergency crews responded to 7700 Renton Way, where a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. Medics from Sacramento Fire provided on-site treatment before transporting the victim for further evaluation.

The crash occurred in a residential area, and authorities have not released information regarding the suspect vehicle. The extent of the cyclist’s injuries remains unknown. The incident remains under investigation.
