South Sacramento, CA - Pedestrian Hit in Walmart Parking Lot Crash

South Sacramento, CA (April 15, 2025) – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening in the parking lot of the Walmart located at 6051 Florin Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 6:28 p.m. near the southeast corner of the lot. Emergency responders initially classified the incident as involving injuries, later changed it to “No Injury,” and then confirmed that injuries were involved.

Fire crews arrived on the scene, though communication from the original caller was limited. The identity and current condition of the pedestrian have not been released. It is unknown whether the driver remained at the scene or if any charges will follow.

The incident remains under investigation.
