Oceanside, CA - SR-78 East DUI Crash Near Nordahl Yesterday

Oceanside, CA (September 18, 2025) – A minor traffic collision occurred yesterday evening on SR-78 East, near Nordahl Wo, involving three vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash took place around 7:09 p.m.

A black Nissan Pathfinder collided with a white Toyota Prius and a white Audi A3. The vehicles were blocking traffic, but all occupants were able to exit their vehicles safely and move to the side of the road.

Emergency services responded to the scene and confirmed minor injuries to some individuals. The CHP later reported that the incident was related to a DUI, and the vehicles were moved off the roadway.

Traffic flow was briefly impacted, but lanes were cleared after a tow truck from Crossroadz Towing arrived. The incident has been fully resolved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
