Stockton, CA - Five Pedestrians Injured in Suspected DUI Crash on W Sonora St

Stockton, CA (May 18, 2025) – Five pedestrians were injured Sunday afternoon when a driver suspected of DUI struck them on the 500 block of West Sonora Street, according to the Stockton Police Department.

Emergency responders arrived around 2:00 p.m. to find five adults aged 40, 41, 56, 62, and 67 suffering from injuries. All were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening conditions.

Police say the driver, a 62-year-old man, was found unconscious in the vehicle and revived with Narcan. Investigators believe impairment may have been a factor. There is currently no evidence suggesting the act was intentional.

The collision remains under investigation.
