Stockton, CA (May 5, 2025) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning at N Clements Road and E Stampede Road, just northeast of central Stockton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, reported around 5:10 a.m., involved a gray Toyota Tacoma that overturned and came to rest on its side on the right shoulder. A white Ford F-150 remained disabled at the scene, temporarily blocking both traffic lanes.
Paramedics responded promptly, and one individual was transported for medical care. Towing services from Pacific and Mach One were dispatched to remove the vehicles, and the scene was secured by 5:17 a.m. Officials warned of traffic delays due to ongoing cleanup efforts.
Preliminary information suggests that the crash may have been triggered when one of the vehicles attempted to pass a tractor before the collision. CHP continue to investigate the incident, and no further details have been released at this time.
