Stockton, CA – Two Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run on Poplar St

Stockton, CA (June 5, 2025) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized when struck by a fleeing vehicle on Poplar Street near Madison Street, Stockton Police reports.

The crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Emergency responders found a man and a woman injured at the scene; both were transported to a local hospital for treatment, and the extent of their injuries remains unconfirmed.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and looking for witnesses to identify the hit-and-run driver.
