San Jose, CA (August 28, 2025) – A traffic collision occurred on the connector ramp from I-880 North to US-101 South in San Jose, resulting in minor injuries on the evening of August 28, 2025. According to CHP, the incident involved two vehicles: a red SUV and a gray BMW sedan.
The collision caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway. The red SUV was found approximately 5 feet off the road, while the gray BMW had veered about 30 feet off the road and down a ditch. Emergency medical teams and fire crews were promptly dispatched to the scene.
Authorities initially reported partial lane blockage due to the collision, but all lanes were cleared by 11:03 PM. The two vehicles were towed from the area by Lima Towing (for the BMW) and Unique Towing (for the SUV).
No major traffic delays were reported, and the situation was resolved without further incident. The drivers involved sustained minor injuries.
