Temecula, CA (April 11, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a felony hit-and-run that injured two pedestrians Friday evening at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Tetterington Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:42 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Camry that fled the scene after striking two juveniles. Witness reports described the vehicle as being driven recklessly before the crash.
Deputies initiated a search using surveillance footage and Flock camera data, which led them to locations in Lake Elsinore. One vehicle was examined but later ruled out.
Both juveniles sustained injuries but did not require hospitalization and were released to their parents at the scene. No arrests have been made. The investigation remains active.
