Truckee, CA - Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Near Eagle Lakes Road

Truckee, CA (April 26, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle collision involving up to six vehicles was reported Saturday afternoon on westbound Interstate 80 near Eagle Lakes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. Emergency crews responded promptly to assist those involved. Authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries, though further details about the total number of injured individuals have not yet been released.

Traffic was diverted at Cisco Grove while crews worked to manage the scene and clear the roadway. By 4:00 p.m., westbound traffic was moving again.
