Truckee, CA (May 27, 2025) – One person was seriously injured when a bicycle and two vehicles collided on State Route 89 near Alpine Meadows Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred around 6:08 a.m. Tuesday when a white Toyota Corolla and red Ford F-150 struck a bicyclist in the southbound lane. CAL FIRE and CHP crews treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.
CHP investigators continue to probe what led to the collision.
