North Hollywood, CA (October 03, 2025) – Two people were killed and two others injured early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash on West Vanowen Street, south of Lemp Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The crash occurred around 1:43 a.m. when a silver vehicle carrying multiple passengers left the roadway, striking an electrical pole and several parked cars before catching fire. Firefighters extricated the victims using hydraulic rescue tools.
Among the deceased was Jonathan Dicristofaro, 18, along with a 30-year-old rear-seat passenger, both pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants, including a 25-year-old man, were transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities said the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
