Sacramento, CA - Two Injured After Car Crashes Into Rosa Parks Middle School

Sacramento, CA (October 09, 2025) – Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning after their vehicle crashed into Rosa Parks Middle School in Sacramento, the Sacramento Police Department reported.

Officers responded to the scene just after 7 a.m. near 68th Avenue and Tamoshanter Way. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. They are expected to survive.

The Sacramento Fire Department assessed the building’s structural integrity and found only cosmetic damage, including scorch marks on the exterior walls.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. The school remains open, with only minor disruptions due to the incident.
