Fresno, CA โ Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries after a head-on collision that took place on Wednesday on Old Millerton Rd in Fresno County, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
The incident involved two vehicles that crashed directly while driving along this rural road. Fortunately, both drivers were wearing seatbelts during the accident, which likely helped reduce the severity of their injuries.
Emergency responders from Fresno Fire and Rescue quickly arrived at the scene. First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated the injured individuals involved in the crash. Both drivers were subsequently taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, although their injuries were described as minor.
During the cleanup and investigation, the roadway was partially blocked; however, traffic was allowed to move through, albeit with some delays. The vehicles involved suffered significant front-end damage and were later towed away from the scene.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the collision, examining factors such as road conditions, speed, and any other potential contributors to the accident. Our thoughts remain with those who are on the path to recovery from this unfortunate event.
