Huntington Beach, CA (October 09, 2025) – A 45-year-old man from Los Angeles and a 46-year-old Huntington Beach resident died Thursday evening in a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue, the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) reported.
Officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the crash at approximately 8:27 p.m. Upon arrival, they found both men unconscious in the roadway. Paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed the Los Angeles man was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Beach Boulevard when he collided with the pedestrian, who was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
The HBPD’s Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team is actively investigating the collision.
