Los Angeles, CA (August 13, 2025) – A Chevrolet Blazer and a BMW SUV were involved in a traffic collision Tuesday night on southbound US 101 near the 7th Street off-ramp in downtown Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash was reported at approximately 9:55 p.m. Both vehicles came to a stop on the freeway; one was able to exit onto 7th Street, while the other remained disabled in the traffic lanes. Debris from the impact was scattered across multiple lanes, causing temporary slowdowns for other motorists.
Emergency responders, including CHP officers and tow truck crews, arrived quickly to secure the scene and clear the roadway. CHP confirmed the collision was a no-injury incident, and both drivers were evaluated at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by CHP officials.
