Vacaville, CA (May 19, 2025) – An uninvolved motorist was injured Monday night when a Ford Mustang and a Chevrolet Corvette street-racing on Peabody Road near Cliffside Drive crashed into their vehicle, the Vacaville Police report.
The crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m. when the Mustang lost control and struck both the Corvette and the victim’s car. Emergency crews treated the injured driver at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital; the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
The 22-year-old Mustang driver was arrested on charges of reckless driving and street racing. Investigators continue to seek information about the Corvette’s driver.
