Vacaville, CA (April 22, 2025) – A fatal crash occurred early Tuesday morning on Interstate 80 eastbound near Leisure Town Road in Vacaville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported shortly after 4:00 a.m. At least one person was confirmed dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the cause of the crash or the identity of the deceased.
Emergency crews responded and temporarily closed all eastbound lanes. One lane was reopened by 6:00 a.m., while others remained blocked during the investigation and cleanup.
CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the crash.
