Vallejo, CA (June 8, 2025) – One person was injured when a collision occurred on I-80 eastbound at the Carquinez Bridge Toll Plaza, California Highway Patrol reports.
At about 1:18 p.m. Sunday, medics and fire crews treated the injured at the scene before transporting the individual to a nearby hospital; the extent of injuries remains unconfirmed.
CHP investigators are examining factors such as merging traffic, reduced braking space, and driver inattention.
