Vallejo, CA (May 5, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday morning on Interstate 80 eastbound near Carquinez Toll Plaza Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at approximately 8:25 a.m. and involved a red 2018 Toyota Prius and a black SUV. Officials said the Prius sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene. The black SUV was found disabled in the slow lane after the collision.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash and began assessing the scene. It is not yet known whether any individuals were injured. CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision.
