Valley Springs, CA (May 7, 2025) – A head-on collision on Highway 26 near Farris Drive in Valley Springs left one person dead and three others seriously injured Wednesday afternoon, according to Calaveras Consolidated Fire.
The crash involved two vehicles that collided under unknown circumstances. The force of the impact caused one of the vehicles to veer off the roadway.
Three individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Further details will be provided as they become available.
