Watsonville, CA - CHP Officer Injured in Patrol Car Crash on Hall Rd

Watsonville, CA (April 8, 2025) – A California Highway Patrol officer was injured Tuesday night after his patrol car flipped and crashed near a power pole on Hall Road, according to officials.

The incident occurred at around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Hall and Willow Roads, in front of Las Lomas Market. Authorities said the officer was responding to an emergency call at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed the officer sustained injuries. He was expected to recover, though the extent of his injuries has not been disclosed.

The crash caused a power outage in the area and narrowly missed a nearby propane tank. No other vehicles were struck during the incident.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash and has not yet released further details.
