West Sacramento, CA (April 25, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision was reported Friday evening on westbound Interstate 80 near Reed Avenue in West Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which occurred around 5:23 p.m., involved four vehicles, including a white BMW sedan and a blue Honda. One of the vehicles was reportedly spun around and was facing the wrong direction after the impact.
Emergency crews responded promptly to manage the scene and remove debris, including shattered glass, from the roadway. Tow services were requested to assist with clearing the damaged vehicles. The crash caused significant delays in the area as traffic was temporarily slowed.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation. It is currently unclear if any injuries were sustained.
