Woodland, CA - At Least One Injured in Big-Rig Collision

Woodland, CA (June 3, 2025) – At least one person was injured when a pickup and a big rig crashed near County Road 102 and Road 18C, sparking a grass fire.

The crash occurred at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, and emergency medical crews reported at least one occupant with unspecified injuries, transported to a nearby hospital.

The impact ruptured the big rig’s fuel line, igniting dry grass along the roadway. Firefighters contained the wildfire within 20 minutes, preventing further injuries.

CHP’s Woodland office continues to investigate the collision and its role in starting the fire.
