Woodland, CA – At Least One Injured in Big-Rig Collision

Woodland, CA (June 3, 2025) – At least one person was injured when a pickup and a big rig crashed near County Road 102 and Road 18C, sparking a grass fire.

The crash occurred at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, and emergency medical crews reported at least one occupant with unspecified injuries, transported to a nearby hospital.

The impact ruptured the big rigโ€™s fuel line, igniting dry grass along the roadway. Firefighters contained the wildfire within 20 minutes, preventing further injuries.

CHPโ€™s Woodland office continues to investigate the collision and its role in starting the fire.
