Sacramento, CA (April 3, 2024) – According to Sacramento police, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run on Broadway in North Oak Park on Monday night.
The Sacramento Police Department reports that soon after 8:00 p.m., officers and traffic detectives went to a collision in the 3700 block of Broadway, after which the involved driver left the scene. The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and was sent to a hospital. A spokeswoman for the Police Department reported that the victim passed away at the hospital later on Monday night. The investigation into the hit-and-run is still ongoing. Information on suspected vehicles was not accessible.
