Sacramento, CA (April 24, 2024) – Two individuals were transported to hospitals on Friday afternoon after a collision involving a Sacramento Fire Department ambulance in the downtown area.
It occurred at the intersection of 5th and L Streets shortly after 3:00 p.m. According to Sacramento Fire, the ambulance personnel were en route to the facility because of a medical emergency. A woman operating the other vehicle and a crew member aboard the ambulance both required hospitalization. The woman sustained severe injuries.
