Amador, CA (July 3, 2024) – Amador Fire reported that a multi-vehicle crash took place on Highway 88 in Martell on Tuesday afternoon, leaving several victims injured.
Crews responded to reports of the crash near Argonaut Lane around 5:35 p.m., and the latest California Highway Patrol online logs indicate that the crash was blocking the roadway as of 5:45 p.m. It is unclear how many injuries were reported, though EMTs transported at least two people to an area hospital. The accident is still the subject of an investigation, and the events leading up to the collision remain unknown. Any witnesses were asked to contact the CHP.
