Elk Grove, CA (June 3, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol reported that one person was taken to the hospital after they were hit by the driver of a stolen car in Elk Grove, police said.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, an individual was driving a stolen car westbound on Laguna Boulevard and hit another car around 9:20 p.m. near Franklin Boulevard. Officers said police were pursuing the driver before the crash happened and later arrested the motorist. The driver of the car that was hit was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, no other updates were given on the victims’ current conditions, and the investigation is still ongoing and active in the interim.
